Tripura Election 2023: Voting begins at 7:00 am for 60 constituencies for Tripura Assembly elections 3337 centers set up for polling amid tight security Voting will be held from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm which 1100 will be identified with sensitivity and 28 have been identified as more sensitive. The number of votes polled will be held 13.53 lakh women are involved in these elections, in which a total of 28.13 lakh voters will vote.

According to the Election Commission, a total of 51.35 percent of people have exercised their franchise till 1:00 pm in Tripura.

There are 3337 minority polling stations in the entire state that have been selected for election.

In Tripura Election, Chief Electoral Officer G. Kiran Kumar Dinkaro has identified 1100 sensitive and 28 highly sensitive in 3337 polling stations. Irregularities have not been heard. Strong security measures have been taken.

A CPI supporter has been assaulted outside Kalachera polling station in the 36-Shantirbazar constituency in the South Tripura district. The injured has been referred to the hospital and the police are on the lookout for the assailants. According to the news of a fight with a BJP supporter, the injured has been admitted to the hospital. The names of the injured attackers are not being disclosed, on the basis of the photographs the police are searching for the attackers. Taking Suo moto cognizance, a priority has been registered at Santirbazar police station. The police have talked about arresting the culprits soon.  Apart from this, clashes between BJP and CPI have also been reported from the Kalchera area of Santirbazar in South Tripura Police and civil sector officials reached the spot and brought the situation under control and helped in the smooth conduct of polling.

Record polling appeal by PM Modi for Tripura Election 2023

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday appealed to the people of Tripura to vote in record numbers and get ready for democracy amid elections. The Prime Minister tweeted, “I urge Tripura to vote in record numbers and strengthen democracy”. Along with this, he also called upon the youth in particular to exercise their franchise.

Amit Shah also appealed to vote. “All brothers and sisters of Tripura are requested to continue the trend of peace and progress and exercise their right to vote for a progressive government,” he tweeted.

Come and vote to build a prosperous Tripura.

BJP President JP Nanda also appealed to the people of Tripura to vote “I urge all the attachés to participate in this festival of democracy and vote for the Tripura Assembly elections. Each vote continues the journey of good governance and development.” Will spin in the direction I keep and a sip free, proving for a rich and decisive reflection”.

Controversial statement of Tipra Motha in Tripura Election 2023

In a controversial statement, Tipra Motha chief Pradyot Debbarma, who has launched a new political party in Tripura, said that only his party is fighting the battle against the BJP if it fails to get a clear majority in the elections. Debbarma also said that if we get less than 30 seats for the Tipra Motha party, then he is thinking of buying 25 to 30 MLAs by selling his property. He has a lot of money.
