CUET UG 2023: Big Relief to Students

For the first time in the CUET UG 2023 exam, students of nine subjects including accountancy and computer science are going to get extra time. (More time will be available in the paper on nine subjects including Mathematics-Physics) The rest of this time is being given to them for reading and writing the question paper.

In the CUET UG 2023 for undergraduate admission to universities, students will also get an additional time of 15 minutes in the papers on Accountancy, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, Informatics Practice, Chemistry, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and General Tests. You will also get 45 minutes to solve the papers on other subjects.

Extra Time Will Be Given For The First Time

According to a senior official of the Ministry of Education, accountancy has been started for the first time in the CUET UG 2023 exam, students of nine subjects including computer science will also get extra time. And this time can also be given to them for reading and writing the question paper. Students of these nine subjects will also get one hour in the examination. This change is also being made by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) on the demand of students and parents.

Negative Marking in CUET UG

There will be a negative marking in CUET UG 2023 as per NTA’s CUET UG 2023 policy. If a student keeps clicking the wrong answer to a question, then one mark will be deducted. If more than one answer to a question in the paper is also correct, then those students will get only five additional marks, who have chosen only one option. Even if the answer to any question in the paper is wrong, So the student who gives the most correct answer will also get five marks. And in CUET UG 2023 questions will be asked from the class 12th NCERT syllabus only. And students will continue their preparation under the NCERT syllabus. The papers are prepared from the syllabus.

Better Prepared Than Last Year

This time better arrangements and preparations are being made. The exam days have also been minimized. Earlier CUET UG was conducted in two phases. From May 21 to 31, the exam will be conducted in three shifts in just 10 days. Computers can also be checked during a surprise inspection of examination centers so that students do not face any problems during the examination. Additional capacity is being arranged at each center. Its purpose is to make another computer available immediately to the student in case of a technical fault.
