Kalki 2898 ad Trailer is inspired by Hindu scriptures and is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898. The film is going to be released on a budget of Rs 600 crore, it is one of the biggest and most expensive Indian films ever.
Initially, it was to be released on May 9, but due to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, it has been postponed. Postponed after the elections, it will now have a new worldwide release date of June 27. The film is set in the mythological and dystopian city of Varanasi, following the journey of the Mahabharata from 3102 AD to 2898 AD, focusing on Kalki, the tenth incarnation of the Hindu god Vishnu.

Kalki 2898 Ad Trailer: Actors’ Fees?
According to Pinkvilla, the film’s Rs 600 crore budget includes Rs 200 crore for the actors. While Prabhas has taken a fee of Rs 150 crore for the film, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was paid Rs 18 crore, and Universal Hero Kamal Haasan got Rs 20 crore, fans pointed out that Deepika Padukone has also been paid just Rs 20 crore.
