Tripura Election 2023: Voting begins at 7:00 am for 60 constituencies for Tripura Assembly elections 3337 centers set up for polling amid tight security Voting will be held from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm which 1100 will be identified with sensitivity and 28 have been identified as more sensitive. A CPI supporter has been assaulted outside Kalachera polling station in the 36-Shantirbazar constituency in the South Tripura district. The names of the injured attackers are not being disclosed, on the basis of the photographs the police are searching for the attackers. Taking Suo moto cognizance, a priority has been registered at Santirbazar police station. The police have talked about arresting the culprits soon. Apart from this, clashes between BJP and CPI have also been reported from the Kalchera area of Santirbazar in South Tripura Police and civil sector officials reached the spot and brought the situation under control and helped in the smooth conduct of polling.

Record polling appeal by PM Modi for Tripura Election 2023
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday appealed to the people of Tripura to vote in record numbers and get ready for democracy amid elections. The Prime Minister tweeted, “I urge Tripura to vote in record numbers and strengthen democracy”. Along with this, he also called upon the youth in particular to exercise their franchise.
