A normal running story takes a turn when Tinny decides to break up. This twist is the life of this film. The movie talks about relationships and talks about family in a very beautiful way. The first half of the film is slow, which seems a bit boring, but after the second half, the story changes and the film does tremendous entertainment.
Directing and Acting
Luv Ranjan’s films have a different flavor in his films, his films often touch the hearts of the youth, whether it is a heavy monologue of a boyfriend upset. The youth always relate to Luv Ranjan’s stories and this film titled ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ is also addressing some of the same issues of usage. Luv Ranjan has done a great job in this direction, working on his pick pattern and formula. Talking about acting, Ranbir Kapoor has done a great job which is winning hearts, Ranbir is a wonderful actor, and he has proved it once again. However, seeing Ranveer in many places, you will remember the film ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. Shraddha Kapoor has won the hearts of people with her boldness as well as her cuteness. The same Shraddha Kapoor has not been seen like this before. Anubhav Singh Bassi has made his debut as an actor in the film and seeing him in the whole film it seems that he is not working hard at all, in the whole film Anubhav looks very natural which looks very good. Apart from this, other supported cast including Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia has also done a good job in this film and have done a great job in their character. The film has cameos by Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Barucha which is fun. Although for a moment it seems that Luv Ranjan is thinking of creating his own universe.
The film is a family entertainer with all the elements that would appeal to the non-vegetarian audience.
Technical and Music
The technical aspect of the film is strong here, and the cinematography by Ayyam Boss and Santhanam Krishnan Ravichandran is excellent, be it Gurgaon or Spain, every location in their love affair looks exotic and grand. Hitesh Sonika’s film is a delight to watch on the silver screen and the backdrop matches perfectly with the feel of the film. While the musical variety on promotion has added to his scene, Pritam’s songs have already hit chartbusters from the film, with some special songs like Tere Pyaar Mein, Kabhi Baar Pyaar Hota Hai, and O Bedardi in his playlist soon.
What to see?
Every element is present in the film, which a cinema lover looks for. You will get to see all that special entertainment, romance comedy family drama dosti. The twist for Ranbir Kapoor fans is that he is back in the rom-com genre after a long time while Shraddha Kapoor will be happy to see him on the silver screen after a long time with Love Story as well as a family emotional drama. The pairing of Shraddha and Ranbir is also a factor in the film. The film is entertaining and claims that the last 30 minutes of the second half are spent on laughs.
