In fact, on February 14, 2019, the soldiers of the country were attacked by terrorists on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway, the convoy of the Central Security Police Force (CRPF) was going on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway. When this convoy reached Pulwama, a car came from the other side and that car hit a bus of the convoy. The car had so many explosives in it that due to this collision, there was such a huge explosion that the bus was completely destroyed. It was destroyed and along with it, 40 CRPF personnel were martyred. This terrorist attack was carried out by Jaish terrorist Adil Ahmed Dar by attacking a CRPF convoy with an explosive car. Terrorists like Sajjad Bhatt, Mushir Ahmed Khan, etc. were also involved in this attack. The terrorists ambushed a large number of soldiers and hit the CRPF convoy with a car full of 300 kg explosives, which blew up the entire CRPF convoy.
After this attack, the soldiers were soon admitted to the nearest Army Hospital, but a large number of soldiers died on the spot, and some soldiers died during treatment. 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred due to this attack.

The memorial site was inaugurated in an article full of the memory of 40 CRPF soldiers who were martyred on the first anniversary of the terrorist attack. This memorial is established in the 185-battalion camp of CRPF.
On this day, the fourth anniversary of the suicide attack in Pulwama district, 40 soldiers were paid tribute at the martyr’s memorial located in CRPF’s Latkhor camp. Special DG Jaldi Singh Chaudhary of CRPF Jammu and Kashmir also reached there to pay tribute to the martyrs.
Along with this, a blood donation camp was also organized along with an exhibition of special weapons. The memorial was inaugurated in memory of the 40 martyrs CRPF soldiers who laid down their lives on the first anniversary of this terrorist attack that took place 4 years ago.
Along with the photographs of all the 40 soldiers, their names and the RPF motto ‘Seva and Loyalty’ have also been inscribed.
